Over the course of many years, I have experimented with several different betting methods and concluded that the unit system is most effective. This is especially true if one’s main goal is progressive long-term profiting, regardless of bankroll amount! The system is built on the idea of units, with 1 unit being equivalent to 1% of your total bankroll. A unit is the size of one’s bet, where as a bankroll is the amount of money one has set aside for sports betting. Since rule of thumb in sports betting strategy says that you should be wagering between 1-5% of your bankroll per bet, minimum bets will be 1-unit plays with maximum bets being 5-unit plays.
